Audiometric Suite & Install for a Pre-K - 12 School District

Below is a real story about how our team in Louisiana helped a pre-k - 12 school district quickly move all of their audiometric equipment, including an audiometric suite, to a new facility. 

The Customer:

A pre-K-12 school district in Southwestern Louisiana

  • Location: 1 site for testing
  • Size: 2 audiologists on staff
  • Daily patient volume: Can see a maximum of 14 children per day
  • Additional details: Customer has been working with e3 Med-Acoustics for over 17 years

The Problem:

The school district sold the facility where audiometric testing was conducted. As a result, they needed to disassemble their audiometric suite, uninstall all their audiometric equipment, move it six miles, and set it all up in the new building. Because testing is so important to them, they needed to have all their equipment moved and reinstalled ASAP.

The Solution:

The movers took about a week to relocate the audiometric suite and nearly 20 audiometric instruments, which included a mix of audiometers, tympanometers, OAEs, ABR, and more.The next day, Regional Sales Manager Tony Cuartas and NASED-Certified Technician Kevin Catalanotto arrived at the new facility and got to work. Before the end of the day, they were able to not only reconstruct the audiometric suite, but also reinstall every piece of audiometric equipment. 

The Takeaway:

Because of the quick response and efficient work of Tony and Kevin, the school district had their suite and equipment set up fast so they could get back to testing children immediately. Tony and Kevin were able to handle everything so the school district’s staff didn’t have to worry about setting anything up themselves. 

This isn’t the first time that the e3 Med-Acoustics team has stepped up to the plate for this customer. They also provided exceptional service when the school district added another testing facility and needed a new booth and equipment installed. Similarly, they were able to complete everything in one day.
